Botswana: safari in the Okavango Delta
Six nights in two small camps, with safaris by vehicle, boat and mokoro. Arrive by light aircraft and transfer between camps by helicopter.
About this journey
Botswana is an Africa few people have seen up close: no fences, no crowds, and Okavango water spreading across the Kalahari. Three nights at Little Sable, among the channels and savannah of the Khwai reserve, and three at Mokolwane, with seven elevated, solar-powered tents in the heart of the delta.
There are two safaris a day, at dawn and in the late afternoon, with guides who know how to read the bush. Elephants, lions, hippos and wild dogs. In between, full board and quiet surroundings. Transfer between camps is by helicopter, flying over the delta.
A journey for travellers with some safari experience, or those who want to begin with something beautiful. Price in US dollars, per person sharing a tent, with internal flights included. Flights to Maun are not included; we can quote them alongside the trip.
