About this journey

Antarctica is the final continent, and SH Vega offers a comfortable way to reach it: 152 passengers, balcony cabins, a spa and a team of scientists who give talks during the Drake Passage crossing and join you in the landing boats. Four days on the Peninsula among glaciers, icebergs and penguin colonies.

The itinerary starts in Buenos Aires with one hotel night, followed by a flight to Ushuaia, where the ship awaits. An all-inclusive experience: meals, selected drinks, expeditions and Wi-Fi.

As on every expedition, ice and weather determine the exact itinerary. Prices are on request, by cabin and season, from November to March. Flights are not included; we can quote them along with your stop in Buenos Aires.

The itinerary

1. Day 1: Buenos Aires

   Arrival in Buenos Aires (International Airport Minister Pistarini - Ezeiza) and regular transfer to the hotel.
   Accommodation for one night, with breakfast.

2. 2nd day: Buenos Aires – Ushuaia

   After breakfast and check-out at the hotel, regular transfer to Buenos Aires airport for boarding to Ushuaia. Arrival and transfer to port for boarding on SH Vega ship. Accommodation for 9 nights, including All.
   All includes:
   • All meals available on board;
   • Selected non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages;
   • Expeditions through the Antarctic Peninsula;
   • Standard Wi-Fi.

3. 3rd and 4th day: In navigation

   Opportunity to enjoy the ship's facilities, perform treatments at the spa, exercise at the academy and learn about geography and animal life with experts on board in presentations and lectures during navigation.

4. 5th to 8th day: Antarctic Peninsula

   Among glaciers, majestic icebergs and snowy islands, the Antarctic Peninsula is the most accessible area on the continent.
   It provides several scientific bases and some of the most interesting wildlife scenarios, such as the photogenic Canal Lemaire.
   Land expeditions may include Petermann Island, where Adelie penguins, birds and the huge, clumsy sea elephants are found.

5. 9th and 10th day: In navigation

   Opportunity to enjoy the ship's facilities.

6. Day 11: Ushuaia – Buenos Aires

   Arrival in Ushuaia and landing in the morning.
   Regular transfer to the airport and boarding in flight to Buenos Aires.

• On your return, book the flight from Buenos Aires at least 3 hours (Ezeiza) or 5 hours (Aeroparque) after the arrival of Ushuaia.
• Expedition parka provided on board; boots borrowed.
